Aromatherapy in Bristol

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is a natural, holistic therapy using essences of plants, a truly wonderful experience!

The use of essential oils (essences of plants) have been used throughout history, dating back to the ancient Greeks who used it to ease muscular aches and pains and in the 18th Century, Dr R M Gattefosse is recorded to have used essential oils for clinical research, he was the inventor of the word “aromatherapy”.

Essential oils are made up of tiny chemical molecules, which are extracted from plants, flowers, bark and leaves. All essential oils have therapeutic and healing properties having a profound affect, reviving the body, nurturing the soul, enhancing our mood and emotions.

Aromatherapy can be used in 3 main ways
